Goozee Goes Gorgeous For Charity
Certified wholly women-owned business Outstanding Branding, a global distributor of promotional merchandise, are proud to support Client Experience Manager, Fred Goozee, as he cuts off his flowing locks for two cancer charities.
This January we are delighted to support our Client Experience Manager Fred Goozee as he cuts off his hair in aid of two fantastic charities. It has been almost 4 years since Fred has been to the hairdressers; but on 14th February this year he will be cutting and donating his luscious locks.
With a target of £1000, everyone at Outstanding Branding will collectively be supporting Fred to help him reach his goal.
Fred will be joining the likes of Jessie J and Harry Styles by donating approximately 16 inches of his hair to a great charity called Little Princess Trust. The Little Princess Trust provides real-hair wigs free of charge to children and young adults up to the age of 24, who have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. Since 2016, The Little Princess Trust has raised over £2 million to fund research that will help cancer sufferers across the UK, as well as providing over 6000 free wigs.
Alongside this, Fred is fundraising for Children with Cancer UK, whose mission is to improve survival rates and the quality of survival in young cancer patients and to find ways to prevent cancer in the future. By raising awareness of childhood cancer, they can protect more children and improve the lives of young cancer patients – today and for future generations.
Since 1987, Children with Cancer UK has raised over £230 million to support research into the causes and treatment of childhood cancers, and to provide better facilities for caring for children and their families. Founder and Chairman, Eddie O’Gorman OBE, received the 2018 Pride of Britain Lifetime Achievement Award.
