BPMA at PSI
The BPMA exhibited at PSI in Dusseldorf earlier this year alongside 800 suppliers from over 35 countries.
The BPMA had its own members lounge at the exhibition allowing all members, both suppliers and distributor to use the lounge for meetings, and catch up’s with industry friends. A drinks reception was also hosted by the BPMA on the Tuesday afternoon offering all those that attended a gin and tonic, a beer or glass of wine. The Lounge was positioned next to many BPMA member exhibitor stands.
The BPMA worked with Department of International Trade to secure grants for eligible suppliers to received £1,500 towards the cost of exhibiting at the trade show. Daniela Arena comments “Each year we bid for funding to support suppliers in exporting their products and services with the ultimate objective of increasing the exporting potential of our industry here in the UK. When combined with the packages offered by PSI, particularly the first time exhibitor package, this grant makes the much-talked-about PSI show a worthy investment for any supplier looking to build upon their export business.” 10 suppliers received the grant and had a successful show and are now busy working on all the enquiries received during the 3 day show. The BPMA also teamed up with Sourcing City to host a Mexican night on the Wednesday evening. The event was well attended by many a UK supplier and distributor looking for a social, relaxed networking evening – in fact tickets sold out due to popular demand. Casita Mexicana hosted the meal and served burritos and tacos before the group headed next door to the well known and ,much loved Irish Pub.
Our CEO, Jon Birrell, attended a number of forums and networking events with European and International counterparts throughout the show, staying connected with industry leaders.

The PSI trade exhibition is the ideal platform for business start-ups and networking. It was a full 3 days of events and a lot of footfall which proves the industry is constantly evolving.
