Road to Recovery

Life is changing and with the announcement from Government that some sectors can start to return to work, with more guidelines to follow and rules to interpret, we are faced with decisions to make as businesses to map a path to the future.

The news that furlough has been extended further will help some companies evaluate their position with some breathing space and allow a moderately more flexible view on the immediate with a safety net still in place.

As the BPMA continues to push for further business rates relief and taxation, we are lobbying as part of a collective voice for VAT reduction on marketing spend to help get the economy moving. With £1 of advertising and spend creating £6 GDP and £1 spend on marketing generating x8 in return, the BPMA will continue to press Government for relief to aid flow of budget to the sector.
