Promo Trade Take On the Santa Dash!

The Promo Trade family are taking part in Windsor’s Santa Dash, 25th November 2018, for their chosen charity Alexander Devine. Promo Trade work closely with Alexander Devine, assisting them in many ways with their fundraising or promotional merchandise. Alexander Devine is a Children’s Hospice Service and was founded in 2007 with the aim of providing a dedicated Children’s Hospice service, for all children with life limiting and life-threatening illnesses in Berkshire and beyond.

Alexander Devine has opened a Children’s Hospice in Maidenhead, just down the road from Promo Trade HQ. However, they still need all the help and support they can get to ensure that the new hospice is fully equipped to provide for the children and families who will be using the facilities. Within the hospice there is a hydrotherapy pool, a sensory room, six children bedrooms, two adult suites and many creative learning rooms along with lounges and seating areas.

The hospice was built as a ‘home from home’ for all the families who need support and help. It allows for the families to take a break from their normal environment. The Alexander Devine’s Care Team support over 90 families across the country in their own homes. Although the construction is complete on the hospice Alexander Devine still need help raising money to fund the equipment and furnishings within the hospice as well as the workers which are needed to help it run smoothly. The hospice is open for day visitors however they do need all the help they can get to ensure the hospice is ready to open for overnight and long-term stays.

Every year Alexander Devine host a Santa Dash in Windsor. Their dedicated staff members and volunteers help put on this amazing fund raiser around the festive period. The Santa Dash is a great way to start the festive period, it is such a lovely heart-warming event for such a good cause. Every dasher must dress up in a Santa’s outfit and either run, jog, walk or dance your way to the finish line.
