Merchandise a winner at Festival of Marketing

October’s Festival of Marketing was an opportunity for the merchandise community to promote the benefits of product media to a senior marketing audience, who gathered over the course of two days to listen to big name speakers from brands such as John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, The AA and Virgin.

BPMA members supplied items at the event, including Trade Lanyards, Crazy Bags, Rifd cards and umbrellas by PF Concept, and hangover packs from Bio Labs. The Festival provided exposure at a quality event that cost delegates up to £995 to attend.

Shenyana Lim, head of events at organiser Centaur Media thanked the BPMA team for their involvement. “Our branded items bear our logos and therefore we expect them to be of certain quality. As an event planner, it’s always a worry about receiving branded materials a week or even days before the event and realising they are not to spec or brief. That’swhy I always go with BPMA.

“The BPMA also has a stand in our Festival City where they printed fun bespoke mugs for our guests with event related quotes. It was so popular that they completely ran out of stock by the end of first day and had to get more for the next day.”
