Karen Hughes Resigns as Managing Director of Prodir Ltd.

Prodir Ltd., the promotional pens specialist based in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, announced today that Managing Director Karen Hughes has resigned from the company for personal reasons.

‘The Board of Directors and Management of Pagani Pens SA are grateful for Karen’s years of sterling service’ said Mr. Giorgio Pagani, founder and President of the Board of Directors of Pagani Pens. ‘During her tenure, she was responsible for substantial changes, improving our UK & Ireland operations and upholding the values of the company’s brands. Karen has been a great asset for Prodir and we are grateful for her valuable contributions over the last eight years. We wish her and her family the very best for the future.’

Effective as of 16 August, 2019, the Managing Director functions will be transferred to Pagani Pens’ headquarters in Switzerland. In a note, Eckhard Sohns, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of the group, underlined the strategic significance of the UK operations: ‘The UK market is very important for us. We plan to reinforce our sales and marketing activities in order to ensure that our customers continue to receive the high level of service they rightly expect from us.’
