GeigerBTC bulks up with Response Marketing acquisition

Geiger BTC is acquiring York-based distributor Response Marketing as part of its continued UK and European expansion strategy. Response Marketing has been in business since 1999. Geiger BTC, the UK subsidiary of US merchandise business, said it made the acquisition to support the needs of global customers in North America, Europe and worldwide.

Their location in the beautiful city of York means that more of our clients can now enjoy an even better, local service going forward.” Murphy has indicated that GeigerBTC is still on the acquisition trail. The business is seeking out likely targets in the form of established distributor businesses with a turnover of £1-2.5m.

The acquisition follows GeigerBTC’s purchase of EMC Advertising in January. Geiger BTC was formed following the acquisition of BTC by the US company in 2018. In its latest appointment, GeigerBTC has added Nicole Armstrong (above) as a business development manager. She arrives with a wealth of experience within the marketing and advertising sector, and the promotional merchandise industry.
