Discretionary Grants: Money is still available

If you tried to apply early on in lockdown for a discretionary grant or didn’t think you would be successful, local councils have reopened this to businesses. BPMA Chair Angela Wagstaff advised Supplier and Distributor forums to not delay seeking this extra available funding.

With most local councils providing excellent advice and help, check out what might be available for your business. Over the last few months, the BPMA has been lobbying Government to align our industry with hospitality and events. Whilst the adjacency of this market to our industry is recognised, as with some other sectors we have not been able to access the same benefits.

Eligibility for these grants is linked companies based in England. Please always check the criteria for applications and seek advice. Local councils have discretion about how to prioritise release of funding. Find your local council here.
