The BPMA, British Promotional Merchandise Association has recently appointed 2 new board directors, Andrew Hill, managing director of Senator Pens and Clive Allcot commercial director of Screenworks.
At the 14th AGM meeting held in London on Tuesday 8th November, chairman of the association, Graeme Smith commented on the appointments, “ Our association is in strong shape, particularly with the success of the first BPMA show and the new partnership with Sourcing City on Merchandise World. We are really looking to invest in our industry in 2018 with a number of key industry initiatives. I am delighted to welcome on board two very experienced industry individuals in Andrew and Clive that will help us move the association forward.
Clive Allcot, commented
I am really delighted to be involved in the BPMA at this level, and particularly playing my part to help drive the association forward. There are so many exciting initiatives planned in 2018 and our industry needs a strong association like the BPMA to drive these forward.
Andrew Hill commented
‘I am delighted to be re-joining the board after a couple of years absence (some say I couldn’t stay away !) Seriously, I am acutely aware of the importance of the bpma’s role in bringing clarity and best practice to the promotional products discipline and, via its many initiatives, how essential it’s role continues to be in helping to secure the long-term health of our industry.
As a trade association, it undoubtedly works hard and has notched up many notable achievements in recent years. So much more is planned for the future, and I am happy to provide as much assistance as I can in helping it to achieve its aims.
